Tryouts

We're planning on holding a full tryout in early-mid Sept. (dates not finalized) Leadership will be making practice images for Windows, Linux, and Cisco Packet Tracers. The tryouts will be in the same format as a CyberPatriot round with the same rules (4 hours, no paid tools, etc.). All members, even those already on a team, will participate. Team 1 will have 2 Windows spots, 2 Linux spots, and 2 Cisco spots. Team 2 will have 2 Windows spots, 2 Linux spots, 1 Cisco spot, and 1 "jack-of-all-trade" spot. The jack of all trades will be picked in part based on tryout scores and also commitment, general knowledge, and CTF/other cybersecurity performance this summer. Teams will be chosen based on scores in the practice images and other factors. Only two teams can go to nationals from each school, so if you want a shot at making it, you'll want to study hard to get a spot on T1/T2.
